I am a sucker for strong, dark coffee, so you can’t buy my love with macchiato on Instagram feed, but you can make me happy with natural coffee mask for face and body, indeed. Lush Cup O’ Coffee Face And Body Mask ($8.75 / 150g; $15.87 / 350g) became my daily kick-start about a month ago, it was love on the first sight, so it is really time to share my love story with y’all.
First of all, this mask is a great scrub, both for body and face, but I’ve used it only twice on my body, because I’m in love with coconut shower gel and scrub. Although the parts of coffee beans are pretty hard, this mask does not leave any redness after usage, on the contrary – I was surprised to see even skin after using it and had no reason to use a foundation to hide flaws. My skin is normal, with sometimes problematic stress zone (precisely – a chin) and I started to use this mask when my stress zone was really problematic, so I had a chance to see better performance of this mask. Even after the first use, this mask left my skin soft and even.
I use it as a quick face mask in the morning, to wake up my skin and give it a fresh start for the day and as a mask after removing my make up and preparing for a bed.
Cup O’ Coffee is made from actual coffee, caffeine powder and coffee infusion that help to moisturize, hydrate and exfoliate skin. Kaolin helps to clean and exfoliate dead skin cells and debris from the surface. Coriander seed oil stimulates your skin with aromatic fragrance and vetivert oil restores the moisture and gives your face a smooth, healthy finish.
Ingredients: Organic Agave Syrup (Agave tequilana) ,Kaolin , Glycerine , Coffee Infusion (Coffea Arabica) , Talc , Ground Coffee , Bentone (Hectorite) , Fragrance , Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides) , Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla Planifolia) , Roasted Cocoa Extract (Theobroma Cacao) , Coriander Seed Oil (Coriandrum sativum) , Caffeine Powder ,*Coumarin , *Limonene , *Linalool . *Occurs naturally in essential oils
To apply it, take a small amount on fingertips and gently massage onto dry or slightly damp skin. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with warm water while you massage your face or part of body. The scent of the mask is pretty strong when you apply it, but after rinsing it off, it’s the most beautiful scent I’ve ever felt (blame it on my coffee-lover side of personality), even my boyfriend, who is total hater of strong scents, loved it.
Cup O’ Coffee is a total win for daily deep cleaning and even skin, and I’m definitely going to use this mask in future, but keep in mind I have normal skin and in case your skin is dry, take advice from other blogger or someone who used it on dry skin.
