Tireless Karl Lagerfeld continues to produce a collection after collection. Barely even a month after Chanel cruise show in Cuba, this 82-year old designer presented his views on the next season for Fendi. In this collection, he is still all about Latin American culture and national costumes of nations in South America.
However, things are not so simple as they look – to traditional patchwork techniques so popular in Latin America, Lagerfeld added floral patterns, reminiscent of ancient Japanese paintings. As a result of this style, the collection turned out to be in both vibes – eastern and Hispanic.
The basis of this collection are midi skirts, tops with volumnious ruffels and bombers, often appeared in the pre-season collections of Fendi, but there is also a place for fur – the main material of this Italian fashion house. Thanks to the effort of the masters from Fendi and vision of Lagerfeld, coats decorated with colorful accessories looked like real gardens with butterflies.
